The Massachusetts Higher Education Consortium (MHEC) is a nonprofit purchasing consortium established in 1976.
Membership includes 47 private colleges and universities, and all public institutions of higher learning including fifteen community colleges, nine state colleges, and the five campuses of the University system. In addition, membership is extended to nine administrative office consortia, five entities of the state college system, four entities of the UMass system, The Museum of Fine Arts, WGBH public television, The Massachusetts Trial Courts, and Elderhostel.
CCR Central Contractor Registration
CCR was created to be the single repository of vendor data for the entire DoD to avoid this administrative duplication and allow contractors to take responsibility for the accuracy of their own important business information by supplying it directly to the government through a single registration.
